WATCH: Tennessee cornerback suspended indefinitely following arrest

Tennessee cornerback Bryce Thompson is suspended indefinitely following an arrest on charges of domestic assault over the weekend.

Thompson and a woman reportedly got into an argument on Saturday after she found fake eyelashes belonging to someone else in his room.

Witnesses told police that Thompson told the woman he would “slap the [expletive] out of you.” The arrest warrant says two witnesses told police they also heard him threaten to “shoot up the school.”

Police say Thompson denied making those threats.

Volunteers head coach Jeremy Pruitt said Monday that Thompson is suspended indefinitely while the process continues.

“We hold our student-athletes to a high standard,” Pruitt said. “The safety of all students is our first priority here at Tennessee.”
