While all eyes will be on Bears OLB Khalil Mack as he exacts his revenge against the Raiders, there’s another storyline as the Bears face the Raiders featuring a pair of rookie running backs.
Bears rookie RB David Montgomery and Raiders rookie RB Josh Jacobs participated in a traditional English custom and shared some tea in a recent Madden 20 promo.
While it was all in good fun, there were some teacups that were harmed in the making of this video.
The Raiders selected Jacobs in the first round of last April’s draft, which was one of the two first-round draft picks the Bears gave up for Khalil Mack. The Bears traded up to take Montgomery in the third round.
Jacobs and Montgomery are the top rookie running backs this season. Jacobs leads all rookies with 307 rushing yards and Montgomery comes in at No. 2 with 200 rushing yards.
We’ll get a glimpse at both Montgomery and Jacobs on Sunday when the Bears and Raiders face off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
