The area has been converted into a massive fan zone for punters this summer - with 30 bar tables set out socially distanced.
Only 12,000 lucky people managed to get a ticket for the game and it has been a nervous atmosphere at the Clockwork with fans praying for a strong start.
But as Czech Republic netted the second goal after 52 minutes, the fan zone fell silent again, with fans in utter disbelief as David Marshall was lobbed from miles out.
One hopeful Scot remained faithful by shouting 'there's plenty of time left' on 85 minutes, summing up the vibe in the fan zone.
