Watch: Talkin’ with T.J. is back for a third season

He’s back!

Despite retiring this offseason, T.J. Lang and the Detroit Lions are bringing back “Talkin’ with T.J.” for a third season.

After spending seven seasons with division rival Green Bay Packers, Lang found his way back home signing with the Lions in 2017. He was only able to play two seasons in Detroit before injuries took their toll and led to his retirement last March.

During his time in Detroit, he and the Lions’ media department got together to create “Talkin’ with T.J.” a (mostly) weekly show, where Lang interviewed teammates, in what was a comical break from the seriousness of the NFL. It lasted for two seasons but was thought to have been canceled after his retirement.

Lang, a Ferndale native who attended Brother Rice high school and Eastern Michigan University, has always felt connected to Michigan and stayed in the state after his career was finished. The Lions and Lang have done some promotional work this offseason. He has also found a home on the radio talking about the Lions and even covered the team from the sidelines on TV during the preseason for FOX.

Now, the Lions are furthering their relationship with Lang and bringing back the fan-favorite comedy/interview show for a third season.
