Tacko Fall is earning his way to the fan-favorite title in Las Vegas as he plays with the Boston Celtics in the NBA Summer League.
The former UCF Knight was not selected in June’s NBA Draft, but he is leaving his mark with the opportunity he has with the C’s.
Fall played 21 minutes in two games with the Celtics, but his numbers reflect his capability despite the small sample of minutes. Fall scored 18 points with six rebounds and two blocks but recording a plus/minus of +27.
The uncommonly tall player even garnered an “MVP,” chant while shooting from the free throw line. The Celtics’ roster is full, but Fall is certainly making his case for a roster spot somewhere.
