WATCH: Suspended NASCAR driver still found a race this weekend

NASCAR truck series driver Johnny Sauter has been suspended for one race, but that won’t stop him from hitting the track Saturday.

Tuesday he received a one-race suspension from NASCAR after using his truck as a weapon Sunday at Iowa Speedway. He and Austin Hill, the other driver, had been exchanging bumps throughout the race, but Sauter got the final retaliation after slamming Hill’s truck into the wall and then T-boning it for a stretch down the track.

Sauter tweeted Tuesday that, as he waits out his NASCAR suspension, he’ll participate in the Dick Trickle 99, a Super Late Model race in Wisconsin.
