NEW DELHI: Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper-batter Vishnu Vinod made his presence felt on the field as he completed a wobbling catch to dismiss Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Faf du Plessis while coming as a substitute fielder in an IPL match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday.
The incident happened in the 15th over of the innings when a well-set du Plessis went for a premeditated scoop off Cameron Green's widish outside off delivery.

But the RCB captain took his eyes off the ball at the point of contact and miscued it as the ball went to short fine leg where Vinod got hold of a juggling catch on the third attempt.
RCB opener du Plessis (65 off 41 balls) held one end, despite losing Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat at the score of 16, and put on a fine 120-run stand with Glenn Maxwell (68 off 33 balls) for the third wicket.
Du Plessis hit five boundaries and three sixes in his gutsy knock while Maxwell slammed eight fours and four maximums during his eventful stay in the middle.
