Stunning drone footage of Chatelherault Park this week shows Hamilton glistening in the snow during the Christmas holidays.
Benjamin Taylor captured the town in his unique video which sees locals enjoying a fun winter wonderland from the sky.
While the country enters another lockdown, there is still some cheer to be spread as we appreciate the pretty sights of the local beauty spot.
Just as the festivities began to settle, locals woke up to masses of the white stuff on Tuesday, December 29.
It was the winter wonderland kids needed after a more subdued Christmas than ever before. And they were out in their numbers throughout the week to ride the snowy hills of Chatelherault Park.
Benjamin, 24, from Uddingston, went down to capture the scenes in all its glory - with the help of his dog Mollie who had a great time running around in the snow. She features in the video.
Benjamin told the Advertiser: “I bought the drone a about three or four months ago and I’ve just been flying it as a hobby. It takes a wee while to get to grips with the controls but it’s great to see how some of the shots turn out.
“I was just out taking the dog a walk and it was a cracking day so I knew it’d be great to capture everything with the snow sitting on it.
“It puts a whole new perspective on things that you normally don’t get to see so seeing Chatelherhault from lots of new angles is really nice.”
