Watch Steven Gerrard take no prisoners in hilarious 50-50 tackle

For anyone who has spent their whole life in football, the shutdown of the sport must be quite a confusing time.

That's certainly the case for Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, who has been a player or coach all his life.

But the Liverpool legend showed he's lost none of his competitive fire - with some 50-50 challenges against one of his kids in the garden.

The former midfielder didn't quite go as hard as he used to against Manchester United, but it still sparked amusement from his fellow former pros.

Ex Celtic striker Robbie Keane wrote: "A few people been on the end of a few of them pal."

Former Liverpool team-mate Luis Garcia was impressed with the skills of Gerrard's son, writing: "He can win a 50/50 against me already!"

And Didier Hamann felt the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree: "First one he's trying to go over the top like daddy."
