Rangers boss Steven Gerrard insists his side have no interest in signing Vaclav Hladky.
The Czech goalkeeper claimed Rangers were interested in signing him next summer but Gerrard doesn't know where that has come from.
St Mirren boss Jim Goodwin claimed he could play in the English Premier League with Hladky himself admitting he would prefer a move down south.
But Gerrard reckons Hladky's agent is giving him information that is false as he often believes happens in football.
He said: "That's just all his agent. He must be telling him that. I know nothing about that."
Gerrard's men travel to West Lothian to take on Livingston on Sunday and the Ibrox gaffer admits the change in style is something they need to plan for.
He expects another physical game after their 1-0 win in the Betfred Cup saw them need various players treated, including Joe Aribo who was replaced with a head injury.
He added: "One of the biggest lessons we learned from last season was that you have to switch your focus pretty quickly whether you're on a high or a low.
"You need to get over it as quickly as you can and move on to the next challenge. And we've done that a lot better this season.
"We have to be ready for whatever comes our way (on Sunday). If it pans out like the game there three weeks ago it's going to be a physical challenge.
"We had to have our physio on for head injuries three times in the first 20 minutes. We've got a fair idea of what's coming our way."
