Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson hasn’t been his usual self in the Western Conference Semifinals against the Rockets, and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith reported Tuesday that Thompson’s struggles are a result of the Warriors’ team dynamic.
Smith did clarify that he did not speak to Thompson himself, but said he was told that the 29-year-old is tired of sitting around and “getting the crumbs let behind by other people.” Smith did not report that Thompson is interested in leaving Golden State and the Bay Area, but the Warriors will need to prioritize Thompson during free agency to keep him happy.
