Steph Curry ended the 2019 NBA All-Star Game with a dunk that shocked just about everyone who was watching. In fact, he kind of started off the game showing off his bounce by throwing down a few nice dunks during warmups of the mid-season scrimmage.
We haven’t seen a lot of dunking from Curry over the course of his career. He has made a living knocking down shots beyond the arc (including 10 makes in the game against Sacramento), but it’s always nice to see him get up for one.
When he does get up, though, it’s always unexpected. So much so that Curry seemingly shocked himself when he dunked against the Kings in the Warriors first game back following the All-Star break.
If you pause the video at the 7-second mark, you see Curry with his hands over his face in the middle of saying, “oh my god” as he runs back on defense. Curry is one of the greatest athletes in the world and even he couldn’t believe that he was able to throw it down off two feet in the first quarter. Hilarious stuff.
