THE Super Lap Scotland finale served up thrilling track action in tricky conditions at Knockhill last weekend.
At the end of five rounds, the 2020 King Of The Hill crown ended up being shared by Adam Morrison and Francis Simpson.
The time-trial challenge event is run over seven classes using a points-based system, meaning competitors in lower-powered cars can still take the overall title.
MINI Cooper driver Morrison had been the man to beat all season in Class G and rounded out his season with another victory despite a car fire the day before.
And finishing with the same 154 points tally, Honda Civic pilot Simpson, who had claimed multiple wins, finished quickest again in Class C – after his team had helped rival Morrison fix his fire-hit MINI.
The event also saw some hotly contested Formula Ford races – with Logan Hannah becoming the first female to win the David Leslie Trophy.
She and opening race winner Jordan Gronkowski had a gripping battle for the coveted trophy, trading the lead on a couple of occasions.
Two Mod Sports races saw Nemesis driver Ron Cumming and BMW M3 racer Paul Brydon each top the podium.
The Northern Saloons and Sports Car Championship made its second visit of 2020 to Fife, with Jon Woolfitt winning twice and Gary Bowers victorious, too.
And in the Scottish Legends, Steven McGill secured two heat victories while Stewart Black took the win in the final.
