Weather watchers across Edinburgh were treated to spectacular lightning strikes and thunder storms on Friday evening.
The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms from Thursday 25 June through to Sunday.
And with light skies, people were able to see the lightning strikes very clearly on Friday evening.

Local man Jamie Mackinnon managed to catch one of the strikes over Calder Road in Sighthill in slow motion.
In a short video clip he posted to Facebook you can see multiple quick bursts of lightning in the sky above.
Posting it to Facebook, Jamie said: "A few pretty unreal photos I managed to get on my iPhone just now! Pretty class."
Others also flocked to social media to shares pictures they had managed to snap, including Emma White who said on Twitter she had waited patiently to capture the lightning strike.
The yellow weather warning for rain remains in place, with Edinburgh likely to see heavy rain for into the late evening.
The Met Office predict thunderstorms between 3 and 4pm.
