Frank Gore Jr. committed to Lane Kiffin’s FAU program Thursday, choosing to play for the Owls over Southern Mississippi and Kentucky (among other teams).
The son of long-time NFL running back Frank Gore announced he’s on board with the FAU 2020 recruiting class one day shy of the one-year anniversary of receiving his offer from his future team.
Gore Jr. didn’t receive an offer from Miami, the program his dad played for during its 2001 National Championship season, but his strength for his small size and his determination that mirrors his father’s running style make the back a great get for the FAU program close to the athlete’s home.
