Seattle Seahawks receiver Tyler Lockett, fresh off a three-year, $31.8M dollar contract extension, went out and played the best season of his four-year NFL career in 2018.
Lockett hauled in 57 receptions for 965 yards and 10 touchdowns, all career highs. He was one of the best downfield threats in the entire league, and his connection with Russell Wilson was one of the best in recent memory.
In fact, according to Pro Football Focus, the Wilson to Lockett connection is the only duo to connect on a perfect 158.3 passer rating since they started tracking that data back in 2006.
Although he was snubbed from the Pro Bowl, Lockett was nominated as the Seattle sports male athlete of the year, and he finished in Pro Football Focus’ Top-101 players of 2018.
