SoFi Stadium may not be opening in late July as originally planned, but it’s not because construction is delayed. Taylor Swift canceled her tour for this year, which included two shows at SoFi Stadium – the first events on the schedule for the new building.
Construction has continued on and the stadium is starting to really come together. In this latest video from inside the arena, you can see the progress made on the Oculus video board, which is truly one of a kind.
Although it’s not lit up yet, a good portion of the 4K LED panels have been installed.
The views from this video are awesome and give a glimpse at what gamedays will look like at SoFi.
The 2020 NFL schedule hasn’t yet been released as the league comes up with contingency plans in case the COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t subsided by this fall. A shortened schedule is one possibility, as is delaying the start of the season .
As a result, there’s no telling when SoFi Stadium will be officially opened, but as long as construction continues, it’ll be ready for whenever the first event is held.
