If there are any lingering hurt feelings, they are probably in the nerve endings of Boston Celtics big man Enes Kanter’s feet after being thrown in the pool by teammate Marcus Smart.
Making fun of reports that the team was imploding after a lengthy argument erupted in the wake of the team’s Game 2 loss to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, Smart and Kanter decided to have some fun on Kanter’s Instagram.
The pair did their best to approximate what at least some of us were probably imagining taking place in the Celtics’ locker room, Smart using those leverage points to his advantage against yet another big, winning the imagined reenactment of the Celtics’ Game 2 locker room tiff.
With double the downtime in between games because of the scheduling conflict with Monday Night Football, Boston has had some down time to heal up and relax.
And while this certainly isn’t going to help with those goals, it’s good to see these guys cracking jokes about a moment that could have broken differently among a less-connected group.
