Watch Slavia Prague discover Rangers are their Europa League opponents as jubilant Czechs dish out 'playable' tag

Slavia Prague found out they'd been drawn with Rangers in the next round of the Europa League while mid-flight.

The Czech league leaders were returning from the Midlands, having shocked Leicester City in the last 32 on Thursday night.

In high spirits but also anxious to find out their next opponents, a number of the squad told the club's YouTube channel they wanted Steven Gerrard's side next month, although much of the team were up for AC Milan or Manchester United.

But those fancying a trip to Govan got their wish as it was announced over the plane intercom that their new foes were "Glasgow Rangers".

That prompted a massive cheer from players and coaches as they anticipate an enthralling battle to reach the quarter-finals.

And a number of stars remarked they are excited for another trip back to Britain - or 'the islands' as it's known in some European countries.

But they also reckon the tie is "playable" - and the squad appeared to have been celebrating following the massive win on Thursday night, with one star remarking that he's excited to get drunk in Glasgow.

Head coach Jindrich Trpisovsky, meanwhile, is just looking forward to taking on Gerrard on the touchline, not least due to his illustrious playing career, and playing at Ibrox, a stadium he simply describes as "nice".
