WATCH: Shubman Gill reaches Ahmedabad ahead of Pakistan clash

NEW DELHI: Recovering steadily from dengue fever, Indian opener Shubman Gill arrived in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. However, the elegant right-handed batsman's participation in the highly anticipated World Cup showdown against arch-rivals Pakistan on Saturday remains uncertain.

Having sat out the initial two World Cup matches against Australia and Afghanistan, Gill's return was captured in a video circulated on social media as he arrived in Ahmedabad.

When questioned by a group of reporters in the video about his participation in the mouth-watering clash against Pakistan, Gill maintained silence.

WATCH:

India defeated Australia by six wickets in their tournament opener in Chennai and then pummelled Afghanistan by 8 wickets in Delhi.

India are currently at number two spot in the points tally with 2 wins in as many matches. Team India's net run rate is +1.500.
