This is the shocking moment fireworks were set off in the middle of a main Shawlands street forcing residents to flee.
Footage posted on social media captured the thugs in the act on Pollokshaws Road, and also the arrival of the police as the perpetrators fled from the scene late last night.
Locals have since slammed those responsible, with various comments hitting out at the firebugs on Facebook.
Shawlands residents have regularly complained of similar acts in the area over the past few weeks.
Glasgow Live have contacted Police Scotland for comment.
