The Panthers have had a strong tradition of quality linebacker play going for a long time. That trend will be tested in 2020 as the team adjusts to life without future Hall of Famer Luke Kuechly, who retired in January. Now the mantle of leadership will fall on Shaq Thompson, who signed a four-year contract extension the previous month.
