Watch Shane Ferguson's absolute rocket of a goal against Estonia

Sunday turned into a day to remember for Shane Ferguson.

The 30-year-old came off the bench to make his 50th appearance for Northern Ireland.

He was also handed the captain's armband on his arrival to the game in the 55th minute.

And to cap it all off, Ferguson scored an absolute screamer to earn Northern Ireland a 1-0 win at the A Le Coq Arena in Tallinn.

The Rotherham midfielder raced onto the ball about 35 yards out, took a few steps forward and then unleashed a thunderous left-foot shot that arrowed into the top corner.

To add some gloss to the finish, it went in off the inside of the post

It was Ferguson's second goal for Northern Ireland, and his first since 2012 when he scored in a friendly against Finland.

Doubt he will score many better than this though, and on such a special night.
