Yes, that D.A.R.E. shirt you surely still have in the back of your closet is a smug reference to Sharapova’s drug ban from 2016 and 2017. Coincidentally, the failed drug test that led to her ban took place on the day she lost to Williams at the 2016 Australian Open.
