Hope has burned Georgia fans far too many times.
And with the Georgia Bulldogs now sitting at 7-0 and ranked No. 1 in the nation, hope is as high as its ever been that this will be the year UGA wins it all for the first time since 1980.
But there’s plenty of Georgia fans who are unwilling to look at it that way as the fear of being hurt once more is just too overpowering.
We’ve been through a lot as a fan base. We had hope in 2012 but came up short. We were hopeful in 2017 but came up short. Again in 2018 but failed. 2019, hope knocked again – South Carolina and LSU ruined it for us.
So it’s understandable why fans are distancing themselves from hope.
