The Seattle Seahawks are in the desert Week 4 to face off against the Arizona Cardinals for their first NFC West matchup of the year.
Seahawks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney came up big for Seattle in the first quarter on Sunday when he picked off Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. Clowney then ran it back 27 yards for the score and Seattle’s first touchdown on the day.
The Seahawks traded with the Texans for Clowney prior to the start of the regular season to add some power and pass rush to Seattle’s defensive line alongside first-round draft pick L.J. Collier and veteran Ziggy Ansah. All three defensive ends are active this week in Arizona.
Sunday marked the first pick-six of Clowney’s career and his third defensive touchdown. After the score, Seattle took a 10-0 lead over the Cardinals in Arizona.
As of this post, and after a Will Dissly touchdown, the Seahawks have the 17-3 edge over the Cardinals in the middle of the second quarter.
