WATCH: Saturday Night Live mocks Jets, pretends they’re actually undefeated

While the Jets may be winless heading into Week 14, Saturday Night Live’s latest sketch doesn’t want you to believe that.

The SNL skit imagined what it would be like if Newsmax got into sports coverage, claiming the Jets are undefeated. The skit was using Gang Green to poke fun at Newsmax’s coverage disputing the presidential election results.

During the said skit, one of the analysts on “Sportsmax” claimed that the Jets have actually won all their games. The analyst (Beck Bennett) used New York leading the Buffalo Bills 3-0 after one quarter in Week 7 as prime evidence to support his conspiracy theory.

“But then something suspicious happened, right?” Bennett’s character said. “The Bills start getting all these points, outta God knows where.”

In addition, celebrity guest host Timothée Chalamet and Pete Davidson’s characters, also known as “Jetsperts” questioned the results of the Jets’ 20-3 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 12. Chalamet claimed that he had 500 signed affidavits from Jets fans, who swore they witnessed a Jets win.

If the Jets want to knock off the Seahawks in Seattle on Sunday, they may need an assist from SNL and the “Jetsperts” over at “Sportsmax.”
