NEW DELHI: The Indian cricket team is currently playing a T20I series in Ireland. India won the first T20I by 2 runs (DLS Method) on Friday and the second T20I by 33 runs on Sunday.
In the rain-truncated series opener, Sanju Samson got only one ball to play and he scored one run.
In the second T20I, Samson hit a six and 5 fours in his 26-ball 40 to play a crucial role in India's victory.
A video doing the rounds on social media shows Samson entering the field to bat against Ireland amidst loud cheers from the crowd.
The third T20I is scheduled to be played on Wednesday.
