NEW DELHI: Amid a hot and cold Pakistan Super League season, veteran Shoaib Malik had a disappointing outing during his side Karachi Kings' clash against Peshawar Zalmi on Monday.
In a thriller that Karachi lost to Peshawar by 2 runs, Malik managed a mere 22 runs off 25 balls before getting knocked over by Naveen-ul-Haq in the 17th over of the chase.
As Malik's off stump went for a ride, cartwheeling a couple of times before landing flat on the ground, his wife Sana Javed's stunned reaction hogged the limelight on social media.
A dejected look was followed by Sana covering her face as Malik took a long walk back to the pavilion.
Earlier in January, Pakistani actress Sana married Malik post his divorce with India's Tennis star Sania Mirza.
Sana was earlier married to Pakistani actor, singer-songwriter, and music producer Umar Jaswal. Sana and Umar got married in 2020 and were together until their divorce in 2023.
This is Shoaib’s third marriage after he took the vows with Ayesha Siddiqui and Sania Mirza.
