New York Jets’ quarterback Sam Darnold took off after being heavily pressured in the pocket and navigated his way through the decimated Denver Broncos defense Thursday for a 46-yard touchdown run.

The third-year quarterback from USC, who was the third overall pick in 2018, gave the Jets their first lead of the season.
On the 75-yard drive, Darnold ran for 57 of them at MetLife Stadium. Darnold converted three first downs — with his legs — on the drive and the 57 yards is a career-high.
