WATCH: Sacramento Kings hire Lindsey Harding as assistant coach

The Sacramento Kings hired Lindsey Harding, ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne first reported Friday. Harding joins the Kings after working in player development and scouting with the Philadelphia 76ers. The 35-year-old joins Kara Lawson (Boston Celtics), Becky Hammon (San Antonio Spurs), Lindsay Gottlieb (Cleveland Cavaliers) and Jenny Boucek (Dallas Mavericks, formerly of the Kings) as an assistant coach in the NBA this coming season.

Harding played at Duke, where she is one of just two players to have her jersey retired, and competed professionally for a decade, playing in the WNBA and overseas. The 76ers hired Harding last year, giving her a start in the NBA.
