After circling the coast of Cork for almost an hour an Aer Lingus flight from Munich found a spell calm enough to land safely around lunchtime.

A Ryanair flight from Stansted had problems about an hour later and had to divert all the way to Kerry Airport.

A Ryanair flight from Lanzarote (FR9944) went to Cork Airport soon after before Aer Lingus flight EI823 from Paris - Charles De Gaulle touched down in Cork after over an hour circling the coast.
