Appearing on the Jim Rome Show earlier this week, NFL analyst Ross Tucker commented on John Elway’s struggles to find a quality quarterback for the Broncos in the post-Peyton Manning era.
Tucker makes a good point — Elway seems obsessed with tall QBs with rocket arms (Joe Flacco is the latest example). If Flacco doesn’t work out, one has to wonder how much longer Elway would last as the general manager in Denver.
