Bears fans have been chomping at the bit to see rookie RB David Montgomery in action and the former Iowa State Cyclone did not disappoint in his first game as a Chicago Bear.
During the second quarter of the Bears’ first preseason game against the Panthers, Montgomery led the Chicago on a scoring drive with four touches and accounted for 46 yards, culminating in a seven-yard touchdown that featured a devastating cutback to shake the defender.
Chances are Montgomery will be seeing a lot of the Soldier Field end zone this season. His score put the Bears up 7-6 late in the second quarter.
