Watch: Robert Woods surprises local football team with new cleats

The Rams have had a huge impact on the Southern California community since moving back to Los Angeles. Whether it’s with Todd Gurley going to schools to read books or how the team rallied around victims of the wildfires and tragic shooting last year, the Rams have been very active in the local area.

Robert Woods kept that up recently when he surprised the Watts Rams football team with brand new cleats.

He also gave them all new books, too.

Earlier this summer, the Rams teamed up with the LAPD to rename the Watts Bears, the Watts Rams. Sean McVay’s team has embraced the youth squad, providing them with uniforms and cleats, as well as guidance off the field.

This is just the latest show of goodwill by the Rams and clearly the players were excited about their surprise.
