Robert Woods spent the first four years of his career with the Bills, flying mostly under the radar as a No. 2 receiver next to Sammy Watkins. He’s since emerged as a reliable and consistent playmaker for the Rams, and he won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, either.
On Friday, Woods and the Rams agreed to a four-year extension worth $65 million. That keeps him under contract through 2025, tacking on four years to his current contract that runs through 2021.
He officially put pen to paper on Saturday, signing his lucrative and well-deserved contract at the Rams’ facility before leaving for Philadelphia. And upon signing it, he said he’s thrilled to be “a Ram for life.”

Woods is 28 years old, so he’ll be 34 when his contract expires. That could be long enough to finish his career with the Rams, assuming they don’t move on from the wideout before his contract ends.
Being from Southern California and playing his college ball at USC, it’s easy to see why Woods would want to play the rest of his career with the Rams.
In the last two years, Woods has racked up 2,353 yards and eight touchdowns on 176 catches, breaking out in a big way after never eclipsing 800 yards previously.
