Watch: Robert Woods makes NFL’s top 25 catches of 2018; John Johnson snubbed

The Los Angeles Rams made a lot of highlight-reel plays in 2018, both in the passing game and on the ground. With one of the best wide receiver trios in the NFL, it should come as no surprise.

The NFL released its list of the 100 best catches of this past season, but only one Rams player made the list. Robert Woods’ toe-dragging sideline grab in Super Bowl LIII checked in at No. 25 as the lone representative from L.A.

Here’s a look at the grab:

Woods made a handful of catches like this one during the regular season that were deserving of a spot in the top 100, but the biggest snub was definitely John Johnson’s interception against the 49ers.

The NFL included interceptions on the list, so it was eligible, and it’s difficult to see why it wasn’t included.

It’s tough to pick the 100 best catches from an entire season of football, but Johnson’s interception was definitely overlooked. It’s still hard to figure out how exactly he made the catch the way he did.
