The San Francisco 49ers got some unexpected help from All-Pro Los Angeles Rams’ DB Jalen Ramsey on Sunday.
Robbie Gould was set to attempt a field goal in a tie game from 47 yards with four seconds left. An anxious Ramsey left early and was called for offside, taking five yards off the task Gould faced.
The veteran kicked knocked it through from 42 and the 49ers had a 23-20 victory that gave them a sweep of their NFC West competitors.

The ending ruined a comeback that saw the Rams overcome a 17-3 deficit to take a 20-17 lead only to see Gould kick two field goals in the final 3:11.
