WATCH: Rishabh Pant shares video of climbing stairs without support

NEW DELHI: Rishabh Pant, who suffered a horrific car accident last year on his way to Roorkee from Delhi, is in a speedy recovery mode and getting better with each passing day.

The Indian wicketkeeper batter has been recovering very quickly, at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, is quite evident with Pant sharing a video on his Twitter handle, where he could be seen climbing stairs without any support.

"Not bad yaar Rishabh. Simple things can be difficult sometimes," read the heartfelt post.

Pant had undergone a major surgery post his car accident and the doctors and medical team overseeing Pant's recovery are happy with the progress he has made in the last four months.

Pant had a major surgery on medial collateral ligament (MCL) and minor repair on anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). The doctors were hoping that the rest of his injured ligaments would heal naturally.

The posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) was a cause for concern. The doctors had kept him under watch and told him there could be one more surgery but it was was ruled out last month.
