Dwayne Haskins was drafted in the first round by the Washington Redskins, but along with him came a fellow teammate and pass-catcher, former Buckeye receiver Terry McLaurin. He had a shot at being drafted after his senior season, but after the Senior Bowl, NFL Combine and several one-on-one interviews with NFL teams, McLaurin skyrocketed up the board from where he was likely to be taken.
Washington was game — especially since his work ethic, demeanor, and chemistry with Haksins is off the charts.
Buckeye nation knows him pretty well, but how well? You only get a peek behind the curtain of certain players in college, and with over 100 personalities in the program, there’s only so much time that can be dedicated to one individual.
Thankfully, the Washington Redskins have a video series titled Redskins Park Drive where they take a ride in a golf cart with players and conduct a brief interview. Think of it like Celebrity Karsoke, but with NFL players, and thankfully without any singing.
