Watch: Red Arrows flypast caught over Harland & Wolff in full glory

The Red Arrows blew away any worries of being lost in the mist over Belfast on Saturday, during their flypast at precisely 1.58pm.

With a strict timetable in place, Northern Ireland was poised for the display shortly after 1.30pm.

But with news that the Cardiff flypast had to be cancelled due to very poor weather conditions in the area, there were some concerns for Belfast which was the next site for the aerial show.

The RAF took to social media to say they plan was still in place and at 1.58pm, the nine distinctive red RAF Hawk aircraft completed the display in perfect formation in just a few seconds.

Robert Gribben's video caught the splendid sight with Belfast below.

‪For the first time in eight years, the  Royal Air Force  Aerobatic Team planned to perform flypasts over Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff and London to mark the 75th anniversary of VJ Day.
