WATCH: RB David Montgomery scores first touchdown of Bears season

After what feels like an eternity, the Chicago Bears finally found the endzone. They scored their first touchdown of the 2019 season near the end of the third quarter of their Week 2 game against the Denver Broncos, thanks to rookie RB David Montgomery.

He dove over the top of the line to extend the ball for the score, completing a nine-play, 80 yard drive.

A 46-yard run by Cordarrelle Patterson put the Bears in scoring position and a 14-yard pass from Mitchell Trubisky to Taylor Gabriel put the offense near the goal line.

Montgomery continued to look like the Bears top running back in his second game.
