Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews combine for the offense’s biggest play of the day so far. This 31-yard touchdown, with a successful PAT, puts the Ravens up 21-10 with 9:34 left in the third quarter.
Baltimore seems to have found themselves offensively after a slow start to the game. Rookie running back J.K. Dobbins is in the midst of another impressive game, finding big chunks of yards on the ground and a two-point conversion on the ground. Dobbins’ efficient running was key to setting up this touchdown which now gives the Ravens some breathing room in this high-stakes showdown.
Jackson and Baltimore’s offense has struggled with the deep ball all season long, allowing opposing defenses to load up the box against them. With this big completion, we might finally see defenses back off and open rushing lanes again.
