Watch Rangers star Alfredo Morelos gear up for Colombia clash against Chile

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is gearing up for Colombia's friendly with Chile as he hopes to lead the line for his country on Saturday night.

Morelos was recalled to the national squad for their double header against Chile and Algeria after his blistering start to the season.

The Rangers forward has helped Steven Gerrard 's side climb to the top of the Premiership table by notching 14 goals so far this season.

Morelos will hope to get the nod from manager Carlos Queiroz after Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez were left out of the squad.

Queiroz was quizzed about the pair's omission, but says he only wants to focus on the players he has available to him.

He said: "Falcao and James are two very important players in the collective memory of Colombia's fans, for their past and for their contribution to the national team, but as I spoke from the first call, my duty as manager of the national team is to make decisions of inclusion.

"It is not very respectful to talk about players who are not. I must concentrate on the players who are representing the national team in this call.

"Many things have been said that have no basis. The decisions of Colombia are very simple, I take them after analysing the players and always under the same premise, which is the best for the team. There are no agreements, there are no commitments."
