Watch: Rams QB John Wolford does Ben Affleck’s ‘Batman’ workout

Barring a major surprise, John Wolford will be Matthew Stafford’s backup this season, which would be his second straight year as QB2 in Los Angeles. He showed potential in two starts last season, though his playoff debut was cut short due to a stinger suffered against the Seahawks.

He’s built a reputation as one of the Rams’ hardest workers, too. Aaron Donald said in December that during the team’s bye week, he was leaving the facility and ran into Wolford, who was walking in with a football in his hands, putting in extra work.

Wolford has been training hard again this offseason, working with Van Jefferson on the field at times. And recently, he hit the gym with trainer Magnus Lygdback, who trained Ben Affleck before he took on the role of Batman in “Justice League.”

Lygdback put Wolford through the workout that Affleck used while playing Batman and it’s no bargain. Take a look at Wolford’s gym session in the video below.
