Watch: Rams give Robey-Coleman Gatorade bath for upcoming graduation

The Los Angeles Rams’ primary goal is to win football games and hoist the Lombardi Trophy. However, there’s more to playing in the NFL than just suiting up on Sundays. Building a rapport with teammates and treating players like family often breed winning football teams.

The Rams have a close-knit team led by Sean McVay, which has led to a ton of success the last two years. That chemistry can be seen in this video of the team celebrating Nickell Robey-Coleman’s upcoming graduation from USC.

Sean McVay announces the news and Robey-Coleman promptly gets a Gatorade bath from his teammates. He’s then presented with a cake, which he hilariously stuffs his face into.

Robey-Coleman has overcome a lot in his life, including the loss of his mother eight years ago. His newborn son also died in November due to lung complications. It hasn’t been an easy road for the diminutive cornerback, but he’s battled through adversity and is now graduating from USC.

Needless to say, he’s thrilled to have gotten the chance to celebrate it with his teammates.

This is a tight-knit team, one that will have a good chance to reach the Super Bowl once again next season.
