Watch: Rams COO Kevin Demoff reads mean tweets about logo

The Los Angeles Rams’ new logo unveiling didn’t exactly go as the team probably hoped. Fans were quick to criticize the new look, ripping the team for sticking with the L.A. logo after the overwhelming backlash when the draft hat leaked.

The Rams channeled that fan anger into a good cause, encouraging people to donate during their telethon to support the Los Angeles United Way and food bank. If donations surpassed $2 million, Rams COO Kevin Demoff vowed to read mean tweets from fans about the logo.

Demoff stuck to his word and shared this video of him reading 10 tweets ripping the team’s new mark.

Demoff is a good sport for actually going through with it and reading the tweets. However, fans would rather watch the team change the logo than see Demoff read critical social media posts about it.

After posting this video, Demoff shared another message with fans and said that he and the team value their feedback, even saying “we can always get better through feedback and engagement.”

Whether that means the team is going to pivot and use the ram head as the primary logo remains to be seen, but it’s highly unlikely the Rams will change the logo set altogether.
