A piper helped mark the return of pupils to their classrooms following their extended break.
East Kilbride Pipe Band major, Craig Herbert, stood at the gates of Hunter Primary School as older children returned to school and piped them in.
Primaries four to seven joined P1-P3 this month as part of the phased return to schools across the country as it moves out of lockdown.
One parent wrote: “The piper was piping all the children in this morning - was just lovely.”
It isn't the first time Craig and his musical talents have hit the headlines.
He wrote a haunting lament in memory of those who have lost their lives in the COVID pandemic.

The piper was moved to write “One Hundred Thousand Reasons” when the UK's death toll hit that sobering figure.
After being picked up in this country and going viral when it was shared online - it has now been used in memorial services across the globe from the States to New Zealand.
