WATCH: Phillies are on a winning streak thanks to a bamboo plant

The Phillies are undefeated since Monday and thanking a lucky bamboo plant for their success.
The team was on a seven-game losing streak, having been swept by the Nats and the Marlins, and second baseman Brad Miller channeled a lucky charm he first used in Double-A ball to change the course for the team.
Miller brought a small bamboo plant to the clubhouse ahead of first pitch Monday, saying he’d done the same once in the minors to break a streak, saying, “This will bring us some wins. I can feel it.”
It worked. Tuesday, Miller bought the biggest bamboo plant he could find and brought it in ahead of the game. The best part, other than the wins, is the fun the Phillies social media team is having with the superstitious silliness on Twitter.
