Before the NFL draft, Pro Football Focus broke down the film of several of the top prospects in the 2019 class. One player the site highlighted was the new defensive end for the Raiders in Clelin Ferrell.

Ferrell isn’t the most athletic defensive end in the league, but he is going to win with power, hand technique, and effort. Look for him to create a lot of plays off of his motor alone.
Ferrell might not have the upside of some of the other pass-rushers in the class, but he projects as an instant starter who could lead this team in sacks as a rookie.
